Today I’m happy to report that both books are with their editors for round two. I’m excited. These stories are getting better and better. In Vinehart Farm, Eva does lots of sanding. Just so you know, I’ve sanded before. In fact, I did it yesterday, smoothing a kitchen table that my dad built for me last week. I try hard to only write about what I know. Except I’m not a widow; nor have my parents died. Husband, mother, and father are healthy and well. So I took some liberties. While I’m waiting to get the manuscripts back, I am trying to sketch out a marketing plan. I think I’ll do curiosity maps for each book as a way to broach this part of the writing process that gives me such angst. I can do anything if I have color pencils!
Have a good week,
